Head of Sales - London

You will work closely with our Founder & CEO and our Head of Operations to manage, streamline, and scale the sales team at Echobox. You will be in charge of a team of sales reps and it will be your responsibility to find ways to improve and increase their effectiveness. You will oversee their lead generation, improve their skills and manage their pipelines. You will also work closely with our Talent Manager to recruit the best talent, retain skilled employees, as well as mentor and motivate staff to reach their sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:

  • The implementation of a global sales strategy for publishers and brands
  • Managing the sales team
  • Driving revenue growth through leading large sales opportunities
  • Defining and developing growth strategies
  • Leading recruitment initiatives covering all sales functions
  • Setting and monitoring KPIs
  • Motivate staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals
  • Propose new ideas and cash flow strategies to the board of directors and other company officers
  • Evaluate newly implemented sales goals and strategies
  • Encourage communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to prevent problems from arising

Academic Qualifications:

  • Degree from a top tier university 
  • Fluent written and spoken English and one other key language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Recent experience selling to publishers and/or brands
  • Proven at building and leading sales teams
  • An ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
  • Experience in data-driven strategic decision-making
  • Genuine passion for technology and the publishing industry

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in a SaaS company
  • Additional language skills
