Marketing Intelligence and Operations Manager - London

Reporting to the Head of Marketing at Echobox, the Marketing Associate is a broad and dynamic B2B marketing role in the technology sector -  with fantastic opportunities to learn and develop, while helping achieve team success in many different aspects of modern digital marketing. You will help ensure the efficient and scaled operation of the marketing team and its link through to sales, working with other members of the marketing team on key projects and helping to execute various aspects of marketing operations, processes, functions and campaigns. In doing so, you will help contribute to revenue generated from both new and existing customers.

In this role, you will help develop great intelligence on our customers, prospects and marketplace as well as working on key operational marketing processes, such as marketing automation, analytics, account-based marketing, demand generation, content marketing and user communications. 

Most importantly, you will have a passion for learning about and helping to improve the practice of modern digital marketing. You will be interested in learning (and contributing to) how Echobox goes about marketing itself to other businesses around the world. Apart from a passion for marketing, the ideal candidate will also have some interest in the use of technology and automation to improve marketing practice. You will be analytical and curious in nature, as well as organised with an attention to detail. You will be someone who is happy to manipulate data in spreadsheets, simple databases or CRMs, in order to help deliver personalised and valuable marketing campaigns.

A self-starter, you will pose new ideas and process improvements and be able to switch between different aspects of the marketing funnel at pace. In return, you will have a fantastic opportunity to build a career in marketing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist marketing team as required across the campaign cycle

  • Build and maintain effective and scalable processes for marketing automation

  • Ensure effective lead handover to sales

  • Build and maintain marketing prospect and customer databases

  • Develop and refine our data-gathering processes, surfacing insights to inform marketing strategy and content creation. 

  • Develop and maintain overall marketing and campaign-specific performance dashboards and reporting, including attribution and ROI. 

  • Monitor and report competitor and customer activity, trends and changes

  • Track, report and forecast marketing investment versus budget

  • Manage central repository of marketing assets and versions

Requirements:

Academic Requirements

  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) from a reputable university 
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced user of spreadsheets or databases, such as Google Sheets.

  • Passion for marketing 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • A marketing qualification and/or some previous marketing experience 

  • Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and/or analytics
