Chief Commercial Officer

You will work closely with our Founder & CEO to manage, streamline, and scale our revenue departments at Echobox. You will oversee and make improvements to increase their performance and scale them as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage our Business Development, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams  

  • Motivate staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals

  • Work with our CEO to develop and implement growth strategies

  • Evaluate newly implemented sales goals and strategies

  • Act as a liaison between Echobox and our clients

  • Provide mentoring to all employees, including management

  • Coordinate with our Talent Manager to recruit highly skilled commercial talent and retain the best employees

Using novel machine learning techniques, we are revolutionising the publishing industry and have a track record of building things that others have ruled out as impossible. Leading names from around the world rely on our product every day, including The Times, Le Monde, The Guardian, Vogue and many more.

We are preparing to launch new products in the coming quarters and are expanding our commercial leadership team to further scale the company. We’ve doubled our headcount in the past 12 months and are looking to increase it by a further 100% in the next 12 months.

Requirements:

Academic Qualifications

  • Degree from a top tier university 

  • Fluent written and spoken English and one other key language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, etc.)

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of sales management experience

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience

  • High level of attention to detail

  • An ability and desire to learn new skills quickly

  • Experience in data-driven strategic decision-making

  • Genuine passion for technology and the publishing industry

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience selling to publishers

  • Experience in SaaS unit economics modelling

  • Familiarity with software development

  • An understanding of product management and development
