About the Role:
You will work with our Head of Product to conduct detailed analysis and build models that translate data into actionable insights.
Liaise with engineers to keep making sure we collect the right data to produce relevant business insights.
Use analysis to deep dive into user behaviours and proactively identify and prioritise opportunities for product improvements.
Challenge existing assumptions and spot opportunities to grow the customer base, make our operations more efficient, and positively impact our financial performance.
Agreeing metrics and setting up automated reports and dashboards.
Guide and enable the product teams to measure things that matter and ensure they are data driven.
Ensure rigour and control within the product teams by guiding testing practices and embedding data awareness.
Minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent) preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Maths, Physics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science).
2+ years experience in a quantitative analysis role, specifically working closely with product teams (e.g. data analyst, product analyst, data scientist).
Proven track record of initiating and delivering actionable analysis and insights that drives tangible impact.
Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Tableau).
Fluent written and spoken English.
The ability to communicate complicated concepts simply, and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Proficient in SQL and have experience of generating insights from large datasets.
Good knowledge of statistics. Experience running A/B and multivariate tests.
Working with tools such as Redshift or similar, plus product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel or similar).
