HR Assistant - London

You will work closely with our VP of Operations to help execute, streamline, and scale all business aspects of Echobox. You will assist in measuring the efficiency of HR processes and find ways to improve and increase their effectiveness. You will get involved in the interaction between various business departments in the company and make recommendations on how to increase cost-effectiveness and reduce cycle times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Operations to measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes
  • Help compile monthly and quarterly reports for the CEO and our investors
  • Help us recruit highly skilled talent and manage all stages of our hiring pipeline
  • Help with onboarding new hires and overall team happiness initiatives
  • Organise company events and ensure everything in our office works smoothly

Requirements:

Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2.1 degree (or equivalent).
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience or a strong interest in HR
  • Good Excel skills and attention to detail
  • An ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
  • Genuine passion for technology and startups

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in financial and unit economics modelling
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Xero
  • Interest in the publishing industry
